Many young people in our community haven't had the best start or the opportunities to reach their potential.

Whitelion is a community organisation with a vision of a world where no young person is left behind. Whitelion builds positive connections and pathways to work for highly vulnerable and high risk young people.

The aim of the Three Peaks Challenge is to reach the summit of three peaks in Australia:
Mt Tennent (ACT), Mt Kosciuszko (NSW – highest mountain in Australia) and Mt Bogong (Vic) in just 33 hours. This year the bushfire damage means that our ACT climb will be Mt Majura.

The climb offers the opportunity for personal fulfilment through a physical and mental challenge, building strong supportive relationships with colleagues and other like-minded people, all the while raising vital funds to assist young people at risk to build better lives for themselves and find the courage to choose a better future.

Whitelion will be making a contribution from the proceeds of the event to support bushfire affected regions near the three mountains.

This year more than ever Australia's alpine communities need us to climb their mountains to support young people who are climbing mountains of their own.
