Both event weekends will cover the following three peaks:
Jump in your car for an early start and drive yourself to the first meeting point. Here you will register, collect your food for the day and then will head off for your first hiking adventure.
Upon return enjoy a catered lunch, and hear from young people and guest speakers as to why this event is so important and how it contributes to changing the lives of young people.
Next is a short drive to mountain number 2! Two mountains in the first 24 hours will challenge you both physically, mentally and will push your limits to achieve what we are sure might feel a little impossible at the time.
For the first time, no accommodation will be provided as part of this event, participants are welcome to organize their own local accommodation or head home for a good nights sleep.
Another early start will have you arriving at mountain number 3.
By now you will be feeling fatigued and sore so this last mountain will feel the most challenging.
Upon completion of this mountain you will feel a range of emotions, gratitude, success and comradery, but mostly you will be feeling a high level of pride knowing you have helped improved the lives of young people at risk.
Celebrate at the bottom with an official celebration of food, beverages and reflection with you new life long friends.
This will allow anyone who is feeling unwell, who has been a close contact and has to isolation a second chance to complete the challenge.
