Can you spare any dollars for a great cause? Suz, Jane, Agnes, Kath, Rika, Meg and I are the GroupM Blister Sisters! We will be taking on this epic 3 Peaks walking challenge 1-4 May this year. We will climb 3 mountains across 3 states in 3 consecutive days! This is no walk in the park and is both physically and mentally challenging, walking back to back, up and down big hills for 3 days. Dont worry, we will have an amazing support crew and professional hiking training leaders making sure we get the job done safely and to schedule. The weather in May can be unpredictable so we need to prepare for all types of terrain and weather conditions. We have invested heavily in the correct clothing and equipment and comitted to 5 hour training walks every weekend in the lead up to the event, which have been well underway for weeks now expoloring amazing areas in and around Sydney. Taking pics and getting to know each other along the way. All funds raised will support and improve the lives of kids at risk nationally via various educational, therapeutic, mentoring, vocational and group support programmes. Kids FirstAustralia aims to improve the life trajectories of as many children and young people as they can across Australia. If you can spare any dollars to make all the pain and early mornings worthwhile and help out some well deserving kids along the way, we would appreciate anything you can spare. Keep an eye out for updates on our progress as we commence the challenge! I'm so excited to finally be doing this challenge in its 20th anniversary year as have always wanted to take part. I am determined to complete every mountain, however much i am aching and with the other 60 or so in the group, we look forward to spurring each other on and getting the job done! Hopefully having some fun along the way with an awesome group of like minded explorers!
