Next month I will be climbing 3 of the highest peaks in New South Wales to raise funds for an incredible charity called Whitelion. The weekend involves 50-60km hiking across challenging terrain with a 5km incline, all within 33 hours.

As a child I was fortunate to be brought up in a safe, secure, supportive and loving home (one of the lucky ones I guess). However, so many children aren’t and they lack the basic care, love, education, mentorship and opportunities in life, that we can sometimes take for granted.

Whitelion help to support at risk or disadvantaged kids in Australia by breaking the cycle of disadvantage to provide mentoring, education and pathways to employment. Their work not only saves lives but drastically improves the lives of those they touch in our communities.
