‘Some kids have some serious mountains to conquer in life’.

That’s where Whitelion come in - they offer programs for homeless and disadvantaged youth to get them back on their feet. They focus on the positive of the person, the things that help build confidence and agency, rather than focus on the persons past and upbringing. They help the person see what they can achieve and give them the tools to go out and make it happen.

This challenge is so much more than the event, it’s the belief in Whitelion to provide support to vulnerable people. We’re going to spend a couple of pretty uncomfortable days trudging up some (in)famous peaks in three states of Australia over 33hrs, but in reality that’s nothing compared to what some of the people who Whitelion support go through on a daily basis.

Your support means the absolute world and I’m very grateful for it. Myself and Hayley (team perky peaks 😂) have been out hiking most weekends in the lead up to the event, so I’m sure we’ll smash those mountains in front of us with your support. Xx
